This page explains, in plain language, what information pacificgatewayventures.com collects, which tools we use, and the choices you have. It describes our practices; it is not legal advice.
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, company, email address, optional WhatsApp/Zalo/WeChat handle, whether you are an exporter or a US buyer, and your message. The form is processed by our website host, Netlify (Netlify Forms). We use this information to reply to you and to discuss a possible engagement. We do not sell it.
Along with the form, we record how you found the site: campaign tags in the link you used (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), ad click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, li_fat_id, msclkid), the referring website, and the first page you landed on. This helps us understand which channels bring serious enquiries.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Calendly. When you open the booking window, Calendly loads on our page and its own privacy policy applies to the details you enter there. We pass campaign tags to Calendly so we know where a booking came from, and we record that a booking was made.
Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit we ask for your choice in a cookie banner. Analytics cookies and advertising tags load only if you click Accept. If you click Reject, they are not loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser so we don't ask again.
Depending on which tools are active, the site may use:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google): counts visits and actions such as form submissions and button clicks. We use Google Consent Mode: before you accept, Google Analytics may receive limited, cookieless signals without storing analytics cookies on your device.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used. Form inputs are masked. Loads only after you accept.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Insight Tag, and optionally the X, TikTok, and Microsoft Advertising tags: measure the results of our ads and posts on those platforms and may be used to show you our ads there. Load only after you accept.
- Google Tag Manager, if we adopt it, to manage the tools above.
Our host, Netlify, may also count page visits from its server logs (Netlify Analytics). This uses no cookies and nothing is stored on your device.
We also keep a small record in your browser's local storage of your cookie choice and of how you first and most recently reached the site (campaign tags and referrer), for up to 90 days, so that a later enquiry can be credited to the right channel.
The site also loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare), and page styling from the Tailwind CSS CDN. Those services receive your IP address when they deliver these files, as any web request does.
Your choices

- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us through the form on our homepage.

How long we keep information
Contact-form enquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and to manage any business relationship that follows. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of each tool (for Google Analytics, up to 14 months).
